Spring Has Sprung on Amelia Island

Flying into Northeast Florida

Bausch & Lomb Championship Returns to Amelia Island

On April 7-13, tennis fans will once converge on Amelia Island for the Bausch & Lomb Championship, one of the premier women's professional tennis tournaments and part of the worldwide Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. Returning for the 29th consecutive year, the 2008 tournament takes place at the picturesque oceanfront resort of Amelia Island Plantation on Amelia Island, Florida. Outdoor Adventure in Full Bloom

Springtime is the right time for outdoor exploration on Amelia Island. Dining Spotlight: Shamrock and Roll at O'Kane's Irish Pub & Eatery

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Amelia Island's only Irish pub - O'Kane's Irish Pub and Eatery. O'Kane's offers a varied menu, with classic meals alongside Irish favorites, like Shepherd's Pie and Steak and Guinness Pie. With 21 beers on tap, O'Kane's guarantees a good time for all. The festivities begin at 11:30 am and continue well past midnight on March 17.

On St. Patrick's Day, patrons can enjoy items from a special menu, while taking in the tunes from Irish folk band, Davis Turner.
