| 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau Continuing an enduring tradition, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will celebrate the arrival of the 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau with a lavish fete on November 20th at 5 p.m. In the years since the annual event began, the resort has staged the wine's arrival by parachute, pirate ship, and Mercedes Benz automobiles. The elegant event will feature champagne and abundant hors d'oeuvres and will take place in a traditional French bistro setting in the ballroom.
